Each level has 10 outcomes and each swimmer is formally evaluated before receiving a certificate and moving on to the next level. Levels are indicated by cap colour
APPROACH
Child centred approach in pace with the Level of Development
OBJECTIVE
To teach breath control, floating, survival skills and propulsion that gradually develops into formal strokes over the various levels
PLEASE NOTE: We do not do Adult training, and our baby training only starts at 9 months. We also do squad training and teach stroke correction as well.
General
Swimmers will be evaluated during their first lesson and placed according to age, ability and prior swimming experience.
Class Duration
All Learn to Swim classes are 30 min. long.

Yes, of course! We specifically cater for busy Mothers and working parents - How long is a swimming lesson?
Our Learn to Swim Lessons are all 30 minutes long. - How many swimmers in one class?
The Teacher-Swimmer ratio depends on the age and level of the swimmer. Beginners will range from 2 to 4 swimmers per teacher. - Does the parent join in the classes?
A parent or care giver is encouraged to join swimmers under the age of 2 years, but it is not compulsory. From 2 years upwards swimmers are seen as independent and will receive Learn to Swim lessons together with swimmers at the same age and level. - When does the new swimming term start?
New swimmers can enrol at any time. - Are you closed during school holidays?
No, we do not close during school holidays.are open right through the year. At Swimming Stars™ Summer Never Stops!

On receiving your application, times and days will be scheduled according to your preferences. You will be contacted telephonically to confirm availability and an applicable Starting Date.
Sign the Terms & Conditions Applicable to your branch
You will receive an email confirming your or your child’s lesson times, starting date as well as the Swimming Stars Terms & Conditions. The Terms & Conditions must be signed and returned, on or before the FIRST LESSON.
Payment Procedure
Banking Details will be provided on application.
The following is payable during or before first lesson:
Once-off Affiliation Fee of R270
Pro-rata payment for lessons remaining till the end of the first month.
NOTE:
The pro-rata is automatically calculated and will reflect on the Membership Form.
